E-Juice Review: PerfectVape’s Lemon Pound Cake

PerfectVape sent this to me for free for the purpose of review.

You can pick up Lemon Pound Cake from PerfectVape.com

Product Specs

  • Price: 10 ml for $4.00, 4 ounces (approx. 120 ml) for $18.49, and 1 gallon for $303.90
  • Nicotine levels: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg

Taste and Smell

This e-juice smells just like lemon pound cake. It even makes me think of a moist cake, freshly unwrapped from the store. It smells great.

I tested this using my iStick100wTC at 61 watts using the MutationXv built at 0.79 ohms.

The flavor tastes a little different than the smell unfortunately. I really wanted it to taste the way it smells. The lemon is a lot stronger than I had expected and the cake flavor isn’t very strong. That’s not to say that it doesn’t taste like cake though, it’s just very light. The lemon is also more “citrusy” than a pastry taste.

The lemon flavor doesn’t taste artificial, which is great and the flavor overall is sweet but not too sweet.

The Bottom Line

I haven’t tried many lemon e-juices before so I don’t have anything to compare Perfect Vape’s Lemon Pound Cake to, but I enjoyed the flavors. The lemon and cake flavors are definitely in here, but the cake flavor is very light and the lemon flavor is kind of strong. I really wanted the cake flavor to come out more, but this is still a pretty good e-juice.

E-Juice Review: Rogue by DIYVaporSupply.com – Apple Pie and Ice Cream

DIY Vapor Supply sent this to me for free for the purpose of review.

You can pick up Rogue from DIYVaporSupply.com.

I like the presentation of this line. The bottles have a nice classy label and the bottles are made of amber glass, which is the best glass you can use for storing e-juice because it blocks nearly all UV rays.

Product Specs

  • Nicotine: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg
  • Prices: 30ml for $14.95, 60ml for $29.95, 120ml for $39.95

What’s It Taste Like?

DIYVaporSupply.com hooked me up with a max VG bottle with 6mg nicotine. For the review, I used the iStick TC 100w at 65 watt, with the Omni RDA built at 0.36 ohms.

I couldn’t really pin down the flavor I was getting. DIYVaporSupply says that it’s an apple pie flavor with ice cream on top, but that’s not really what I was tasting. It has a very slight hint of apple and kind of like a pastry, but not like a baked apple pie. It kind of reminds me of those little apple pies that Wonder Bread makes.

I get a creamy flavor, which is probably where the ice cream description comes from, but it didn’t really remind me of ice cream either. It was sort of “candy-ish,” but not really like candy. And after several hits, I started to get a caramel flavor.

This one is weird. It’s not like anything I’ve ever tasted before.

The Bottom Line

I tried to get the flavors out of this that DIYVaporSupply said was in it, but I just couldn’t. I sorta got a slight resemblance of the apple and ice cream flavors, but honestly, it tasted like something different. But you know? I actually really liked it. The flavor profile of Rogue is so different and unique, that I really enjoyed it.

E-Juice Review: PerfectVape’s Fun Birthdayfetti Cake

PerfectVape sent this to me for free for the purpose of review.

You can pick up Fun Birthdayfetti Cake from PerfectVape.com

Product Specs

  • Price: 10 ml for $4.00, 4 ounces (approx. 120 ml) for $18.49, and 1 gallon for $303.90
  • Nicotine levels: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg

Taste and Smell

If you don’t know what a Birthdayfetti Cake is, it’s typically a moist vanilla cake covered in white frosting and covered in confetti sprinkles.

This smells really sweet and like white frosting, but not so much like cake.

I used the iStick 100wTC at 20 watts and the Veritas RDA with a single coil built at 0.94 ohms.

It has a slight hint of cake, but it mostly tastes like frosting. I do get a combination of both flavors though. The flavor is very creamy and comes through the vapor well. It’s super sweet.

This one has a slight throat hit at 6mg nicotine, compared to other 6mg e-juices I’ve tried.

The Bottom Line

If you like extremely sweet flavors, you would probably like this one. I love sweet e-juices and this one is so sweet that I wouldn’t be able to vape this all day. I still like it, though. It will be more of “on occasion” e-juice for me.
