Summary: The Smart Bar Pro from Helio Supply is a 510-thread cartridge vape battery designed to look like a disposable. It features a variable voltage range of 1.8V–4.2V, a 650mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, and a magnetic base that conceals the cartridge. It’s best suited for vapers who want cartridge flexibility with a discreet, pocket-friendly form factor.
Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Concealed cartridge chamber for portability and discretion | The 650mAh battery is on the small side |
| Variable voltage (1.8V–4.2V in 0.1V steps) | Airflow is not adjustable |
| Works with most 510 cartridges (0.5–3.5ml) up to 18mm diameter | |
| Preheat mode + puff counter |
This is a clever cartridge vape designed to mimic the look of a traditional disposable device. It features a hidden cartridge chamber that protects your carts while maintaining a discreet profile for portability.

The Smart Bar Pro is built for people who want advanced control in a compact, familiar form factor.
Style and Design

This device has a matte-black plastic body that feels soft to the touch and great in the hand. One side of the device features a glossy, shiny screen, while the top has a comfortable, flat duckbill-shaped mouthpiece.

The bottom piece, which conceals the cartridge, is held in place by a strong magnetic connection that clicks satisfyingly into place but is easy to remove when needed.
Functions & Features

The Smart Bar Pro has a variable voltage range of 1.8V to 4.2V, which can be adjusted in 0.1V increments using the left and right buttons. It includes a 10-second preheat mode (activated by clicking the power button twice) and a puff counter that tracks up to 999 puffs before resetting. The device also includes smart safety features, such as short-circuit protection.

One feature that I really like is that it supports cartridges of various sizes. As the box states, it fits almost all 510 cartridges (0.5ml to 3.5ml) with a maximum hole size of 18mm.

That means it’ll fit your standard thin 510 cartridges, but it can also hold much larger tanks. That’s awesome.
Performance

The Smart Bar Pro offers both button-activated and draw-activated firing methods. It provides a comfortable hit, and the interactive screen displays different animations depending on how you vape: a fire animation for button hits and a rocket for draw hits.
When you connect a cartridge, an LED light ring glows to confirm a secure connection, and this light also cycles through various colors while the device is in use.
Battery

The device has a 650mAh internal battery and fast-charges using a USB-C cable from a port on the bottom of the device. It’s not a large battery, but for cartridges, I think it’s a good size.

Not ideal for: Users who want more advanced features or adjustable airflow.
Final Thoughts

The Smart Bar Pro is awesome for a whole bunch of reasons. It performs great, looks nice, and it fits tanks up to 18mm in diameter. It has great features while also being very easy to use.

In several of my past reviews of cartridge vapes, I’ve mentioned how much I wish the cartridge could be contained within the device. Not necessarily for hiding the cartridge, but for portability, because cartridges are tall and add a ton of height to even the smallest devices.
And Helio Supply not only did that, but they put it in a form factor that everyone’s familiar with. They really knocked it out of the park with this design.
I’m a big fan of the device overall.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Smart Bar Pro compatible with all 510 cartridges?
- Yes. As of this time, the Smart Bar Pro is compatible with all standard 510-thread cartridges ranging from 0.5ml to 3.5ml in capacity, with a maximum diameter of 18mm (most carts are 10.5mm). The magnetic base conceals the cartridge chamber, so cartridge size within those limits won’t affect the device’s discreet profile.
- How long does the Smart Bar Pro battery last?
- The Smart Bar Pro has a 650mAh internal battery. While that’s on the smaller side compared to some cartridge vapes, it charges quickly via USB-C. The built-in puff counter (up to 999 puffs) makes it easy to track usage between charges.
- What voltage should I use with the Smart Bar Pro?
- The Smart Bar Pro offers variable voltage from 1.8V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments, giving you precise control over your hit. Lower voltages (around 2.0V–2.8V) tend to suit oil cartridges better, while higher voltages work well for thicker concentrates. Start low and adjust up to find your preferred balance of flavor and vapor production.
- How do I charge the Smart Bar Pro?
- The Smart Bar Pro charges via USB-C with fast charging support. Connect it using any standard USB-C cable to charge the 650mAh internal battery.
- What is the difference between the Smart Bar Pro and a disposable vape?
- The Smart Bar Pro is a rechargeable 510-thread battery designed to look like a disposable vape. Unlike a disposable, it works with most 510 cartridges, so you’re not locked into a single brand or flavor. The key difference is the hidden magnetic cartridge chamber, which gives it the slim, pocket-friendly profile of a disposable while retaining the flexibility of a refillable setup.
