The Surf’s Up Salt Nic Line from Vape Craft Inc

The Surf’s Up line was sent to me for review directly from Vape Craft Inc. Get it here. This is an entirely salt-based nicotine line and there are three flavors to pick from.

Each flavor comes in 30ml bottles, comes in nicotine strengths of 25mg and 50mg, and it costs $18.99 per bottle.

Fin Chop

I live in the midwest, I’ve only been to a real beach once in my life, and I’ve never surfed. So the lingo escapes me, but I looked up the meaning of a fin chop and it’s when a surfboard fin slices into a surfers skin and causes a serious injury. There’s actually a pretty crazy story at the top of Google about a young surfer who just had the top of his head fin chopped, and it’s pretty bad. Not that this has anything to do with this e-liquid, but I found it interesting.

Anyway, Vape Craft Inc describes Fin Chop as a watermelon, dragon fruit, and melon flavor.

Smell: This smells just like a mix of sweet watermelon and melon. I don’t really smell the dragon fruit, but that’s a hard one to smell or taste anyway.

Taste: Right off the bat, I get a strong sensation of menthol or Koolada. It’s not overpowering, but I wasn’t expecting it because it’s not mentioned in the product description. But it calms down after a few hits. Then I get that watermelon and just a slight hint of melon. And like I mentioned with the dragon fruit, it’s hard to get, but it’s probably helping out the overall flavor here. It’s sweet and smooth, and that menthol gives the entire thing a refreshing feel. It’s pretty good.

Barreled

Continuing with surfer lingo education, I looked up barreled and this is actually probably something you’re familiar with, even if you’re not a surfer. A barrel is when the wave curls over itself and closes a surfer in, essentially looking like a barrel or a tube.

Ok, so Vape Craft Inc describes this as a refreshing ripe strawberry and kiwi.

Smell: The smell here is very unique, which I’m hoping translates to the vape. It definitely smells like strawberry, but with a twist of something else, which is probably that kiwi.

Taste: This one is really good. The strawberry seems to have a mix of natural earthiness, but also some sweetness. In most kiwi e-liquids I’ve tried, the kiwi is really hard to point out, but it’s very noticeable here. It’s still really light, like kiwi is naturally, but the kiwi adds a great kick to this one. This flavor is smooth and sweet.

Pitted

And one final lesson on surf lingo. Getting pitted is when a surfer gets situated neatly into a barrel wave. Something I learned while reading about all of this surfing stuff is that getting into a barrel is extremely difficult and many surfers might never get the chance in their entire lives. You definitely wouldn’t get that based on the scenes we see in movies or TV, so it’s an interesting fact.

Alright, So Vape Craft Inc describes Pitted as a melon, cantaloupe, and honeydew blend.

Smell: This smells great. The honeydew melon comes out strong and sweet in the smell

Taste: This is one of the best, most flavorful Nic-salt flavors I’ve ever had. Nic-salts tend to be a little muted just because they have so much nicotine, but this tastes just like a regular nicotine e-liquid. It’s a very smooth melon flavor with the most prominent flavor being the honeydew. I don’t get a lot of cantaloupe, but it’s definitely adding something here because this isn’t just a straight honeydew. If you’ve ever had Spew from Mount Baker Vapor, it’s a lot like that, and I loved that one. So this one is definitely a winner for me.

Overall Thoughts

I really liked this entire line. Vape Craft Inc usually releases mild flavors, which are good, but mild. This line is very different because not only are the flavors much stronger than usual, but also because these have stronger flavor than typical salt-nicotine e-liquid in general. All of the e-liquids in this line are full of flavor, they’re sweet, and they’re smooth. This is a very good salt-nic line in my opinion.

So if you’re interested, you can get the The Surf’s Up line VapeCraftInc.com for $18.99 per 30ml bottle in either 25mg and 50mg nicotine.

The Fruit Monster E-Liquid Line from Monster Vape Labs

The Fruit Monster line was sent to me for review from Monster Vape Labs. This is their new line that just came out at the beginning of June. They sent me both the salt nic and regular nic versions.

The large regular Nic bottles come in 100ml chubby gorilla bottles for $26.99 in nicotine strengths of 0, 3, and 6mg. Those are made with 75% VG and 25%PG.

The smaller salt nic bottles come in 30ml fine-tip bottles for $21.99 and come in nicotine strengths of 24mg and 48mg. These have the same VG/PG ratio as the regular nicotine flavors, so 75% VG and 25% PG.

And just for reference, the salt nic they sent me is 48mg nicotine and the regular nic liquids they sent are 6mg nicotine.

Salty Beaches – Lemon Cheesecake E-Juice

The Salty Beaches line was sent to me for review from Vape Craft Inc.

Vape craft Inc. describes their lemon cheesecake e-juice as a creamy lemon cheesecake dessert.

This is their new salt-based nicotine e-liquid line designed for low-wattage vaping such as with pod systems. These come in 30ml bottles and cost $18.99 each and you can get them in nicotine strengths of 25 and 50mg.

Taste and Smell

I’m vaping this on the Cthulhu 1928 RDA at 17 watts.

Out of the full line, this is the one that I think tastes the least like its name. It just doesn’t taste a whole lot like cheesecake to me. That’s a tough one for anyone to create in my experience. It does taste like some type of lemon baked dessert though, so it tastes good, just not like cheesecake.

I will also say that my wife’s favorite dessert ever is cheesecake, so I’ve eaten a lot of it in my life and of all different varieties and price ranges, so that’s always going to be a tough one to match up for me.

I would actually say that this tastes more like a lemon type of cereal, even though I’ve never had a lemon cereal before 😉

Salty Beaches – Blue Raspberry Ice E-Juice

The Salty Beaches line was sent to me for review from Vape Craft Inc.

Vape craft Inc. describes their blue raspberry ice e-juice as a fruity flavor with a cooling effect. They say it has both sweet and tart notes.

This is their new salt-based nicotine e-liquid line designed for low-wattage vaping such as with pod systems. These come in 30ml bottles and cost $18.99 each and you can get them in nicotine strengths of 25 and 50mg.

Taste and Smell

I’ve been vaping this in the Innokin Z Biip with the mesh coil installed, which is a great setup for flavor.

This e-liquid doesn’t have a strong blue raspberry taste, but more of a blue raspberry hint. The menthol comes out pretty well though. Not overpowering, but a nice mellow menthol. It’s slightly sweet, but not high in sweetener.

Salty Beaches – Grape Kiwi E-Juice

The Salty Beaches line was sent to me for review from Vape Craft Inc.

Vape craft Inc. describes their grape kiwi e-juice as a sweet and tart grape and kiwi e-liquid. It’s as simple as that.

This is their new salt-based nicotine e-liquid line designed for low-wattage vaping such as with pod systems. These come in 30ml bottles and cost $18.99 each and you can get them in nicotine strengths of 25 and 50mg.

Taste and Smell

I’ve been vaping this on the Aegis Solo device with the Expromizer V4 on top. This is a great MTL flavor tank, so it’s perfect for testing salt nic e-liquids.

The grape flavor is prominent. It’s the first thing I taste right off the bat. Kiwi is always hard for me to taste because it’s such a light flavor, but the overall flavor of this e-juice is definitely a mix of grape with other fruits, so the kiwi is adding a little more fruitiness to the blend.
