The Movkin Curved 50k was sent to me for the purpose of review. This is a two-piece device, with one section a pod and the other a battery. It has a unique curved screen, a clear liquid window, and an estimated 50,000 puffs.
Design

The style is pretty simple. The body is a solid color, with a few accents and some branding. It looks nice.
The devices are on the large side. They’re still pocketable, but they do take up a decent amount of space in your pocket. These actually remind me a lot of the full-size mods we used to carry around.

In fact, the design almost seems inspired by a dual-battery mod. It has a similar shape and size, and the airflow section at the bottom of the device looks just like a battery door. I don’t know if that’s intentional, but I like it.
There’s a lanyard hole at the top, so you have that as an option too. It doesn’t come with a lanyard, but I imagine that anyone who likes to use a lanyard with their vape has one they can swap onto this, too.
Split Body

One of the first companies to do this was Off-Stamp, and we’re starting to see more of these split-body disposables. I think they’re a great idea.
The Curved 50k has two parts: the section with the mouthpiece contains a fully usable vape, including the airflow slider, and a small 200mAh battery.

The other half of the vape is the power bank, which has a much larger 1100 mAh battery and a switch that lets you change modes.

You can only charge the pod section with the power bank. You can’t charge it separately. One of the common complaints I saw with the Off Stamp is that you can buy the pods separately, but then you can’t charge them. I understand why pods can be purchased separately, since you can reuse the power bank, but I also understand the frustration people have after realizing they can’t charge them after they’ve bought the pod. I don’t know if Movkin plans to sell the pods separately, but if they do, keep that in mind.
You also can’t change the power mode without the power bank. If this is anything like other similar devices I’ve used, the pod defaults to Normal mode with the power bank disconnected. And that makes sense since it only has a 200mAh battery. It would die too fast in Boost mode.
Being able to use the pod without the power bank is great, though, because you can significantly reduce its size for portability.

The power bank charges using a USB-C cable.
The Curved Screen

This is where the Curved 50K gets its name. I think they should have named this after its split-body feature instead. But it’s a neat screen.
It curves around one side of the body and displays the battery charge percentage, your mode, and a bunch of flashing and rotating dots and squares. It’s actually a little chaotic with everything going on. And a little strange that the only other graphics are a few music notes and a couple of electric guitars.
The screen doesn’t really do much, but it’s neat.
Modes and Features

There are two modes to pick from: Normal and Boost. You change the mode with the button on the bottom of the device, and when you change it, it displays the mode on the screen.
Normal mode is where you get an estimated 50,000 puffs. If you drop it into Boost mode, it brings it down to 25,000 puffs. So there must be a big difference in power there. If you want bigger hits, more vapor, and a warmer hit, Boost mode is the way to go. But Normal mode is great too, and what I prefer using, so I’d stick with that if you want to get the most value for your money.
Airflow

There’s an airflow switch on the bottom of the pod. There are only two options to pick from. One option has two small holes and the other opens three holes.
With two holes, the airflow is a very restricted draw, and with three holes it opens up quite a bit for a much looser draw. I’m surprised at the difference just one more airflow intake hole makes.
Liquid Window

This is one of the coolest features I’ve seen on a disposable in a while. You can actually see all of the liquid in the tank. I like this because with disposables, I constantly wonder how accurate the liquid status numbers are, but you don’t have to guess here. I really like being able to see the liquid.
Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece is a duck-bill-shaped mouthpiece, and that’s my favorite. These are the most comfortable mouthpieces, in my opinion.
With the see-through body, you can also see how they inserted the mouthpiece into the body. It seems to have a large seal that almost looks like you’d be able to pull it out and refill. It doesn’t come out, though, or at least not easily. You can just barely feel the crack where it was sealed to the frame. When I get to the end of one of these, I’m definitely going to try to pull this out and see if I can refill it. It would have been awesome if Movkin made that possible. How cool would it be to be able to refill a disposable at least once before throwing it away?
Flavors
White Gummy

Strong sweet flavor. Has a likeness of a white gummy flavor, but not close enough. It’s absolutely candy-ish, but to me, it has only a hint of gummy bear flavor. Still very good, though.
Mango Peach Watermelon

Light ice. I can taste the watermelon, which is a candy flavor. I can just barely taste the mango, and can’t really get the peach at all, but this doesn’t taste like just a watermelon flavor, so those two flavors are adding to the overall mix. This tastes really good, and it’s very sweet. I just would have liked the mango to be a lot stronger.
Kiwi Dragon Berry

Berry is the prominent flavor here. It’s very close to a blue razz, but with the addition of kiwi and dragon fruit, it has a slightly different, fruitier taste. And maybe even a little calmer than a typical blue razz, which I like.
Pineapple Coconut

The pineapple and coconut go together really well. This is an excellent flavor. Both flavors come through really well, and the combination gives it a sort of baked pastry taste. It’s like a tropical dessert. I like this one a lot.
Juicy Peach Ice

This is a very nice peach flavor. It’s sweet, but has a nice, mild flavor that peach often has. It’s a very relaxing flavor.
Watermelon Ice

This has a strong watermelon candy flavor, strong ice, and it’s very sweet. Maybe even a little too sweet for me. It’s strong.
Sour Apple

This is a unique apple flavor. It definitely tastes like green apple, I think along the lines of a green Jolly Rancher, but it also has a lot of sweetness and maybe a slight earthy taste. It’s good, though.
Miami Mint

A very good mint. It’s your typical spearmint flavor, but it seems a lot sweeter than I’m used to.
Final Thoughts

Overall, the Movkin Curved 50K is one of the more interesting disposables I’ve used lately.
The split-body design is genuinely useful, the liquid window is awesome, and the airflow and power options give you nice customization. The curved screen is more of a fun gimmick than a functional feature, but it adds personality.
It’s a larger device and not the most pocket-friendly, but the tradeoff is solid battery life and great portability when using just the pod. If you want a long-lasting disposable with a unique design, a comfortable draw, and great flavors, the Curved 50K is definitely worth checking out.
