The Smart Bar Pro from Helio Supply was sent to me for review. This is a clever cartridge vape designed to mimic the look of a traditional disposable device. It features a hidden cartridge chamber that protects your carts while maintaining a discreet profile for portability.
The Smart Bar Pro is built for people who want advanced control in a compact, familiar form factor.
Style and Design
This device has a matte-black plastic body that feels soft to the touch and great in the hand. One side of the device features a glossy, shiny screen, while the top has a comfortable, flat duckbill-shaped mouthpiece.
The bottom piece, which conceals the cartridge, is held in place by a strong magnetic connection that clicks satisfyingly into place but is easy to remove when needed.
Functions & Features
The Smart Bar Pro has a variable voltage range of 1.8V to 4.2V, which can be adjusted in 0.1V increments using the left and right buttons. It includes a 10-second preheat mode (activated by clicking the power button twice) and a puff counter that tracks up to 999 puffs before resetting. The device also includes smart safety features, such as short-circuit protection.
One feature that I really like is that it supports cartridges of various sizes. As the box states, it fits almost all 510 cartridges (0.5ml to 3.5ml) with a maximum hole size of 18mm.
That means it’ll fit your standard thin 510 cartridges, but it can also hold much larger tanks. That’s awesome.
Performance
The Smart Bar Pro offers both button-activated and draw-activated firing methods. It provides a comfortable hit, and the interactive screen displays different animations depending on how you vape: a fire animation for button hits and a rocket for draw hits.
When you connect a cartridge, an LED light ring glows to confirm a secure connection, and this light also cycles through various colors while the device is in use.
Battery
The device has a 650mAh internal battery and fast-charges using a USB-C cable from a port on the bottom of the device. It’s not a large battery, but for cartridges, I think it’s a good size.
Final Thoughts
The Smart Bar Pro is awesome for a whole bunch of reasons. It performs great, looks nice, and it fits tanks up to 18mm in diameter. It has great features while also being very easy to use.
In several of my past reviews of cartridge vapes, I’ve mentioned how much I wish the cartridge could be contained within the device. Not necessarily for hiding the cartridge, but for portability, because cartridges are tall and add a ton of height to even the smallest devices.
And Helio Supply not only did that, but they put it in a form factor that everyone’s familiar with. They really knocked it out of the park with this design.
