Design

The DankTank is a great-looking device. You can get this in all-black if you like that, but they also have these in red, blue, or yellow, and I think they look really slick. The colors go great with that black grip.

It’s a really small and portable device that measures only 2.3 inches tall, 1.3 inches wide, and 0.6 inches thick. This thing is really compact. But it’s not so small that it’s uncomfortable to use. And the grip has some nice grooves that make it feel really nice in the hand.

This is a primarily plastic device which makes it really light, but that also means it doesn’t have that feeling of high durability. That’s not to say it isn’t durable, but I think you can get an idea of what I mean based on how it looks. This seems like a 3D-printed product. I wouldn’t call it low quality, but I wouldn’t call it high quality, either.

Refillable Cartridge & Atomizer Chamber

What’s really cool about this kit is that it comes with a 1ml ceramic atomizer. I’ve seen so many of these types of vapes come without a cartridge, so I think that’s a big plus. And the atomizer works well too. It has a nice, open, lung-hit draw, and because of the ceramic coil, the flavor comes out really well. And you don’t have to use the included cartridge if you don’t want. You can use any other 510 cart on the DankTank.

The atomizer chamber goes far into the DankTank, so what you’ll do is connect the magnet in the box to the atomizer and then drop the atomizer down into the chamber to make a connection. The chamber is about 10.8mm in diameter, so make sure your tank isn’t larger than that.

Features

To turn the device off and on, press the firing button five times.

You can preheat by pressing the button two times.

And this does have adjustable voltage too. Press the firing button three times to cycle through the voltage settings. And you can tell the difference by the color of the LED.

  • Red = 3.2 volts
  • Purple = 3.7 volts
  • Blue = 4.0 volts

So you have three options to pick from depending on the type of liquid you’re using.

Mouthpieces

You get two mouthpieces in the box, one tall and one short. The tall mouthpiece is more comfortable, but the shorter one is more compact, so each has a good purpose. I like that they included two of them.

Battery

The battery inside the DankTank is an internal 650mAh battery. That’s a pretty good-sized battery for a device of this size. It depends on how often you use the DankTank or if you’re using it with friends, but if you’re using the DankTank primarily by yourself, I would guess that a full charge would get you through the day.

The DankTank charges using a micro-USB cable, so it’s a bit of a bummer that this doesn’t use a USB-C, but it still charges fast.

There are some protections on here too;

  • short circuit protection
  • anti-discharge protection
  • over-discharge protection
  • over-voltage protection

Final Thoughts

So that’s it for the DankTank. It’s a really cool cartridge vape. It looks great, it’s small and compact, and it has adjustable voltage with plenty of power to get big hits.
