I met the owner, Kayla Yeaman, of SUB-gnOHM at the Big Industry Show vape convention back in April. She makes four flavors and she gave them all to me for free in exchange for a review.
They have a website up at http://subgnohmejuice.com, but at the time of this review, you cannot yet purchase from the site. A new site is in development and should be up soon. You can also submit your email on their website for a 25% off coupon.
Packaging
The first thing I noticed about this e-juice is the beautiful packaging and labels. She uses different colored bottles for each flavor. The bottles are darkly tinted at the bottom and gradually become lighter towards the top. The bottles look great.
The warning info is printed on a clear sticker on the back of the bottle and her custom printed label is affixed to the front. The branding of SUB-gnOHM e-juice is well thought-out and is very impressive.
Product Specs
All E-juices are available in 30 ml bottles and in nicotine strengths of 0, 3, and 6 mg.
I’m not sure what consumer pricing is or what the VG/PG ratio at this time because it’s not listed on the website. This info will probably be available when the new site is launched. It appears to be high VG though.
As for wholesale pricing, here’s what I know:
- 50-200 bottles = $10 (50% profit based on suggested retail price)
- 201-750 bottles = $9 (55% profit based on suggested retail price)
- 751+ bottles = $8 (60% profit based on suggested retail price)
If you’re interested in wholesale, you can contact her at [email protected] or 720-789-1536.
Taste and Smell
It smells like strawberry or watermelon Bubble Yum bubble gum. I don’t smell the pina colada.
I started the review out with the Noisy Cricket using the Indestructible RDA built at 0.78 ohms (approx. 98 watts), but I felt like I wasn’t getting enough flavor out of the Indestructible so I switched to the Mutation XV3 built at 0.60 ohms, firing at 60 watts.
It’s good, but not as strong as I thought it would taste based on the smell. The watermelon and strawberry really come out nicely, but I can’t get the pina colada taste at all.
The Bottom Line
The branding is impressive. I love it all. As for the taste, well, that’s pretty damn good too, but the pina colada flavor is missing. Because of that, I just can’t give it two thumbs up. If you’re looking for a good strawberry/watermelon bubble gum flavor though, this is a safe bet.
