The Elf Bar Disposable Pod Review

These Elf Bars were sent to me for review from HeavenGifts.com (check them out here). This is a new disposable pod system made by VapeOnly that comes in eight different flavors and uses 50mg nicotine.

So let’s talk about it!

Design

These types of disposable pod systems are very popular right now and for good reason. They are comfortable to use, easy to carry around, and they’re super-convenient. While I’m not a fan of the waste created by disposable pod vapes, I have to admit that I love using them.

The Elf Bars look nice. Their colors are based on the flavor, they have a very sleek and shiny finish, and they have clear plastic ends that add to the nice appearance.

They are 90mm long, 20mm wide, and 13mm thick.

The mouthpiece at the top slims down to a comfortable shape and it’s nice to use too.

Each Elf Bar holds 1.4ml of liquid and has a 280mAh internal battery, which the company estimates to deliver about 300 puffs. That seems about right in my experience.

Performance

The nicotine inside the Elf Bar is 5%, which is 50mg.

The Elf Bar is draw activated, so as soon as you hit it, it turns on. The draw is tight and in my opinion, just right for this type of device. You can’t get any sort of mouth to lung hit on here. It’s strictly mouth to lung.

Flavors

Banana Ice

I love banana flavors and this one is no different. I could smell the delicious banana as a open up the package. It really reminds me of a banana taffy flavor. This one is really good and is my favorite of all them.

Blue Berry

I’m usually a big fan of blueberry flavors, but I’m not a huge fan of this one. It tastes like an earthy blueberry, almost like it’s supposed to be blueberry tobacco. It’s not terrible, but I would have liked a sweeter and less earthy blueberry flavor.

Coffee Latte

I was really surprised by the coffee flavor of this one. It straight-up tastes like a dark roast coffee with some added sweetness. It has just a very slight hint of that milkiness creamy flavor of a latte, but I think it could have had more. That would be my only suggestion for this one. It’s pretty good if you like coffee liquids.

Cool Mint

Most mint flavors taste like a typical mint with subtle differences, but this is actually quite different than other mints I’ve had. It reminds me of a mix of spearmint and wintergreen gum and with some extra sweetener added in. It’s pretty good.

Grape

Here’s another flavor that’s very different from other similar flavors on the market. It’s definitely grape for sure, but it’s pretty sweet and actually reminds me a lot of those little grape Smuckers jelly packets that you get at the restaurant to put on your pancakes. This one is really good. I like it a lot.

Lush Ice

It’s very obvious that this is a watermelon flavor right from the get-go. It tastes like a nice sweet watermelon flavor. And that ice gives it a refreshing taste. This one is really good too.

Mango

The mango here is a lot like a natural mango. It’s not overpowering and it doesn’t seem to have a lot of sweetener either. It even has a bit of that earthy natural mango flavor at the end of the hit. If you like real mango flavors, I think you’ll like this one.

Peach Ice

This is a very good fruit flavor with a slight hint of ice. The peach is very good and comes out well with each hit. It’s more of a sweet peach flavor and not much like a natural peach but it tastes good.

Final Thoughts

I liked just about every single one of the flavors of the Elf Bar. The only one that I didn’t care for was blue berry since because it was a little too earthy for me, but all of the other ones were very good. They all taste like they’re supposed to, the flavor comes out strong, but not overpowering, and they all have a good amount of sweetener.

The performance of the Elf Bar is excellent too. These have been one of my favorite disposable pod devices I’ve had yet. I was even a little sad when I used up my last one. I did have a problem with one of them though. The Blue Berry pod ended up tasting burnt about halfway through and then it had to be tossed. I didn’t get any issues with any others though.

The Elf Bar was sent to me for review from HeavenGifts.com and you can get them for $7.50 each.
