Review of the Suorin Air Mini

The Suorin Air Mini was sent to me for review from YouMeIt, which I believe is the official store of Suorin because if you go to Suorin’s website and click “Store,” that’s where it takes you. So anyway, this is a smaller version of the popular Suorin Air.

Design

Minimalism is the idea with the Suorin Air series and the Air Mini fits the theme. It’s clean, elegant, and sleek. The body is made a aluminum alloy and it has a smooth texture.

On one of the larger panels of the Air Mini are a bunch of tiny holes. This is actually an RGB LED light.

That light indicates a couple of things. For example, it lights up when you plug the pod into the device, letting you know it’s fully inserted. It also flashes after taking a hit. And the color of it will change depending on the charge of the battery.

The Air Mini is way smaller than an Air Pro. It’s 75mm (3 inches) tall and 32.3mm (1.2 inches) wide. I don’t have an official measurement from Suorin for thickness but it’s about 25mm or a half inch.

It’s super tiny and really comfortable to hold and use. I love the size of it. You could throw this in your pocket and not even know it’s there.

Airflow

There are two airflow intake holes on the body, one on each side of the device. You’ll just want to be careful about not covering these holes while you’re vaping. Unless you want to create a tighter draw. But this has a pretty tight draw as it is so I don’t think you’ll want to make it any tighter.

Refillable Pod

The pod that comes with the Air Mini holds 2ml of liquid. It’s a top fill pod so you pull the top cap off to give you access to the fill port. This is nice because you can fill the pod without taking it out of the device. The cap snaps into place on both of the thinner sides of the pod so you pull up from one of those sides to loosen it up. There are two fill holes at the top of the pod so you can fill it using either one or both if you’re having trouble getting one side full.

Suorin recommends shaking the pod after you fill it because the airflow might flood with a little e-juice. So by shaking the pod, you can get that back into the pod and reduce some of the spit-back when you take a hit.

The airflow comes through the middle of the pod and it’s a comfortable mouthpiece.

The coils in Air Mini pods are made with mesh so they ramp up fast and produce great flavor.

Battery and Charging

The internal battery is a 430mAh battery, which isn’t much but a pretty good size for a device this small. It also charges fast in only 30 minutes so even if you do go through the battery throughout the day, you can have it recharged really quick.

It charges using a USB-C cable, so that’s also nice to have here.

Final Thoughts

I really like everything from Suorin and they’ve come out with another great product with the Air Mini. It’s really small, looks sleek and modern, and it vapes great. It hits perfect every time, big hits, and the flavor is excellent. High-nic e-liquid works amazing in this thing.
