This was sent to me for review from Black Note. I’ve done several reviews of Black Note’s e-liquids in the past and I’ve loved all of them. If you’re not familiar with Black Note, they develop only tobacco flavors all made with naturally extracted tobacco flavors using cold extraction. Everything Black Note makes tastes like actual tobacco because it’s made with real tobacco. They don’t use any artificial or synthetic flavors.

So yeah, it’s high-quality stuff. That being said, it’s also a little more expensive than regular e-liquids because it’s harder to make.
If you’re worried about this e-liquid tasting like a nasty cigarette, don’t worry, it doesn’t. They make rich tobacco e-liquids with complex notes and undertones. It really is a unique experience.
But anyway, let’s get on with this new flavor that Black Note sent over called Cigar.
They describe this as a Cuban cigar blend made with dark air-cured tobacco that has a pleasant and aromatic flavor. Black Note also says that the flavor notes range from slightly sweet to mildly spicy, with undertones of subtle smokiness.
I’m not a cigar smoker but I’ve smoked some high-quality cigars on a few occasions. I’ve even had a real Cuban cigar about 15 years ago. But it was so long ago that I don’t remember at all what it tasted like.
But anyway, let’s talk about this liquid from Black Note.
So the first thing I noticed is that it doesn’t really remind me of a cigar, but as I said, I’m not much of a cigar smoker, so this might taste like a specific type of cigar that I’ve never had before. It does really taste like rich and smooth tobacco though and that’s because it is real tobacco.
It has a mellow smokiness to it, but not like actual smoke. It’s a little sweet too. I think if you’re a regular cigar smoker, it might not have the intensity you’re looking for, but if you’re looking for a smooth, mellow, but rich tobacco flavor, I think you’ll like it.
So that’s the Cigar flavor from Black Note! It’s a 50/50 VG/PG e-liquid and you can get 30mls in either a glass bottle or three 10ml plastic fine tip bottles for around $20. The price varies a little depending on the strength of nicotine you get.
