The Movkin Tornado 25000 disposables were sent to me for review. These are rechargeable disposables with a colorful TFT screen, a touch switch on the front panel, and three wattage levels.
Design
The Tornado 25k models I received have 2% nicotine, but the boxes say they also come in 0, 3%, and 5%, so you’ve got some good options.
These have a colorful casing for each flavor, rounded edges on the sides for a comfortable grip, some nice patterns on the back, and a shiny black front panel. The front has a bright TFT screen that displays the wattage setting, the battery charge, the liquid level, and a puff timer.
The screen also shows an animation of two tornados when you take a hit: one blue and one purple.
Adjustable Wattage
Two touches of the touch button wakes up the screen, and three touches change wattage levels.
You can pick from three wattage levels – 16w, 20w, and 24 watts. 16 watts is a pretty good hit, and 20 and 24 watts kick it up with each level. Each wattage doesn’t make a huge difference from what I can tell, but it’s noticeable enough.
It’s strange that the wattage moves backward, from 16 watts to 24 and then to 20. The button also sometimes has trouble registering touches. That can be a little annoying, but it’s also good because it prevents accidental presses when holding the device and vaping.
Airflow
The airflow is a loose MTL draw. It’s not as tight as I prefer in vapes like this, but it works well enough. I get a good hit each time. It doesn’t have adjustable airflow, so that’s a drawback.
Battery
These have a 700mAh battery, so it should last several days before needing to recharge.
They charge using USB-C.
Flavors
They sent me 8 flavors, so let’s go over those.
Black Ice
I’m not sure what the exact profile of this flavor is, but it seems to be a minty blueberry & blackberry flavor.
Banana Ice
You can smell the sweet banana candy flavor as soon as you take it out of the box. It smells delicious. This tastes like banana taffy. It’s sweet and strong.
Cherry Bomb
I’ve never had anything like this. Cherry flavors often taste like medicine but this isn’t at all like a typical cherry vape. I don’t know how to describe it. Maybe like a candied cherry or like the cherry flavor you get from a cherry Coke, but without the Coke. It’s really good.
Double Apple
This is supposed to taste like green apple, and based on the name, I’d guess a strong green apple. But to me it only has a slight apple taste and also a slightly earthy taste.
Grape Lemon
I’m not sure I would have guessed this without knowing the flavor. It’s not obvious in the taste. But when you know the flavor profile, it really does seem to taste like green grapes and lemon. It’s a unique flavor and I like it.
Miami Mint
This is a standard mint flavor. It’s like a spearmint gum.
Pink Lemonade
This lemonade tastes great. It’s just like a pink lemonade. It tastes exactly like the pink lemonade mix from Crystal Light.
Strawberry Watermelon
This is a fruity mix with mild flavor. It’s sweet but not overpowering, which is actually nice. It’s a calm and relaxing flavor.
So that’s what they sent me, but they also have 8 other flavors:
- Blueberry Raspberry
- Juicy Peach Ice
- Peach Mango Watermelon
- Strawberry Mango
- Strawberry Mint Candy
- Tropical Rainbow Blast
- Watermelon Ice
- White Gummy Ice
Final Thoughts
These are nice disposables. They look nice, hold a lot of liquid, and the flavors are really good. The only flavor I didn’t care for was the Double Apple, but I love the Cherry Bomb and Pink Lemonade flavors. I would have liked for the touch button sensitivity to be a little more responsive, and I wish these had adjustable airflow, but overall they’re good disposables.
