These RandM Tornado 9000s were sent to me for review from Fumot, who is the manufacturer of the RandM line. I previously did an in-depth review of the RandM Tornado 9000, including some backstory of the artwork, so I recommend checking out that review for more details. This review will cover three more flavors that I haven’t tried yet; Cherry, Mr. Blue, and Strawberry Watermelon. The Tornado 9000 is an extremely popular product, and I continue to receive regular comments on my video review, even a year later.
Design
These devices are popular for what I believe are two main reasons; they perform extremely well, and the design is cool. Each flavor features a different image of a super-creepy alien. These aliens are designed to look scary and gross. Almost like zombies. I don’t know how many people realize it, but this is artwork from the “Mars Attacks” trading cards that came out in the 1960s. The artwork is awesome.
Aside from the artwork, the design also has a sparkly look, which also looks great on these.
These are big tube-shaped devices with a round mouthpiece at the top and a clear base that allows several LED RGB lights to shine through. The lights rotate in a circular motion and turn on after each hit. They’re bright, which some people might not like, but I like them. I’ve also heard from several people that they love how the light shines on the table when you set the vape down.
Lanyard
Each package comes with a lanyard, which is a great add-on. This lanyard is a rubber ring that fits tightly over the device. It holds snug and won’t come loose on you. The strap is fine and it also has a latch so that you can disconnect it easily.
Airflow
This device is designed for bigger hits, so it has a loose airflow. You can take mouth-to-lung hits and restricted lung-draw hits on here. This also does not have adjustable airflow, which is a drawback. I wish they would add that in future versions.
In my original review, I mentioned that you could manually cover one of the airflow intake holes on the bottom of the device to make the airflow tighter. That works really well, but it can be a little hard to cover the hole with your finger and take a hit at the same time. This tip confused a lot of people who misheard me as saying that the airflow is adjustable so I just want to clear that up here, that it’s not adjustable.
Flavors I Tested
The Tornado 9000 has salt nicotine, and they come in 0, 2, 3, and 5% nicotine, although it looks like Fumot only sells the 2% and 5% versions on their store. But you may be able to find the other nic levels from other stores.
Cherry
Cherry is a hard flavor to create in a vape flavor because it often tastes like cherry cough drops. And this one does too. It has a bit of a medicinal flavor. The medicinal taste isn’t as strong as others I’ve tried, though, so this actually tastes a lot closer to a cherry candy. It’s still pretty good. This has ice too.
Mr. Blue
This is a mix of blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. It also has a cool menthol/koolada flavor added to it. I can mostly taste the blueberries, but it’s a little hard to detect the blackberries and strawberries, although it does have a berry fruit mix combination to it.
Strawberry Watermelon
This is a great mix of strawberry and watermelon. They did a great job of combining these flavors so that you get both and not just one over the other. It’s a sweet fruity strawberry and melon flavor. I like this one a lot.
All Flavors
When I originally reviewed the Tornado 9000s, there were only 14 flavors in the line. There are now 43 flavors, so the line has significantly expanded, and also a sign of the popularity of this device. Here’s what they make currently:
Banana Ice | Black Ice | Blue razz Ice |
Blue Razz Kush | blueberry bubble gum | Blueberry Ice |
blueberry Pomegranate | blueberry Respberry | Blueberry sour raspberry |
Blueberry sour Respberry | Bluelicious Ice | cherry cola ice |
Cherry Lychee | Cherry peach lemonade | Cool Mint |
Cotton Pear | Grape | grape ice |
Grape Orange | Gummy Bears | Honeydew Ice Cream |
Ice Pop | Lush Ice | Melon Ice |
Mr blue | Peach Mango | Pina Colada |
Pineapple | Pink lemonade | Pomegranate Ice |
Red Apple Melon | Red bull | Skittles |
Skittles Candy | Sour Apple | Strawberry Ice |
Strawberry Ice cream | Strawberry Kiwi | Strawberry Lemonade |
Strawberry raspberry cherry ice | Strawberry Watermelon | Triple mango |
Watermelon |
Battery
The device has an 850mAh internal battery and charges using USB-C. That’s a big battery, which is great, and being able to charge using USB-C is also a nice feature. While charging, the blue LED light will remain solid so that you know it’s charging.

Final Thoughts
I really like the Tornado 9000s. They perform well, the flavors are great, and the artwork is awesome. The only drawback for some people would be the loose airflow. But if you like that, you’ll love these.
These were sent to me for review from Fumot, and you can get these from them for $29.99, although I see them on sale for $23.99 right now.
