A Huge Study Shows that Vaping Can Prevent 6 Million Premature Deaths

This new study was performed by a bunch of research groups from several universities, such as Georgetown University, The University of Michigan, Yale University and some health organizations like VicHealth Centre for Tobacco Control, The Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and even the Truth Initiative.

If you’re familiar with some of those names and where this study was published, you’re probably as surprised as I am that this is a positive study. BMJ’s Tobacco Control is notorious for publishing anti-vaping studies and groups like the Truth Initiative have been fairly anti-vaping too. So this is really surprising.

But let’s get into the study.

The FDA Suspends Nicotine Testing on Monkeys

I’ve mentioned this a couple of times before but if you don’t know, I was a vegan. Not one of those PETA nutcases, but I was a devoted vegan for nearly 3 years. It was entirely for ethical reasons, not health reasons. I’m not going to go into why I’m not vegan anymore, but I still care a lot for animals.

One thing that being vegan taught me was to have a deep respect for all life. Life is a precious thing, for all living things, and we shouldn’t take it for granted. Even today, I still practice some vegan philosophies, for example, I try to buy most products from companies that don’t test on animals.

And that’s why this latest announcement from the FDA makes me happy.

Bill S-5 Could Legislate Vaping Out of Existence In Quebec, Canada

David Goerlitz, the former Winston Man, and producer Jean-Philippe Boutin partnered to make a short 15 minute documentary about Bill 44 and Bill S-5 in Quebec, Canada.

I don’t know how big of a role David Goerlitz played in advocating for vaping before he was featured in the popular documentary “A Billion Lives,” but since then, we’ve seen a lot of him. He’s been a really big advocate for promoting the benefits of vaping, which is great.

Goerlitz traveled to Quebec and talked with several vape shop owners.

Real Flavors Testing: Grape, Sugar Cookie, and Apple

I picked these flavors up during one of Real Flavor’s recent free concentrate promotions, where all I had to pay was shipping. So I got three 1oz bottles for $4, which is a great deal.

These are all from their Super Concentrates line and all of them are suggested to be mixed at 1-2.5%. I’ve mixed 5ml test batches at the max recommendation of 2.5%, at a 70vg/30pg ratio, and with 6mg nicotine.

I mixed these on Aug. 19, 2017, which was 44 days from the date that I tested them, so they’ve had plenty of time to steep.

Let’s talk about each flavor concentrate.

E-Juice Review: Dough Boy from Abstrakt Vape Co – Raspberry Donut E-juice

You might have heard about Abstrakt Vape Co. recently because they did a ran a big promotion a couple of weeks ago where they sold 2,000 120ml bottles of e-juice for $1. So 2,000 people got this e-juice and as you can expect, tons of reviews for Abstrakt’s e-juice are showing up everywhere. I’ve seen some reviewers reviewing the entire line so it looks like they’ve been sending out e-juice too.

Normal price for this e-juice is $20 for a 120ml, which is super-cheap, which made people wonder if this e-juice is actually any good but check out the reviews online and you’ll find that just about all of them are positive. Every review I’ve seen has been positive anyway.

I got my $1 bottle of Dough Boy with 6mg nicotine, so let’s talk about it.

The UK-based battery company Next Day Batteries has confirmed that they have been unintentionally selling fake battery chargers since as far back as July.
