Pod Vape
Pod devices are typically very small vape products that use a removable “pod” to hold e-liquid. Some pods are refillable and some are not.
Pod devices are great for a few reasons:
- Easy to use for beginners
- Tiny and portable
- Good for high-nicotine (more nicotine & shorter hits)
- Produces less vapor (for discreet vaping)
The biggest drawback to pod devices is that they don’t deliver as much flavor as higher-powered devices. And while that might be true, the newest devices deliver pretty good flavor and they’re getting better all the time.
Joyetech Exceed Grip Review
The Joyetech Exceed Grip Starter Kit (affiliate) was sent to me for review from HeavenGifts.com. This is an upgraded version of the original Exceed device. It’s a small kit with a unique look that uses replaceable mesh coils in the pod cartridges.
Vladdin RE Review
The Vladdin RE is the refillable version of Vladdin’s original device. Get it here (affiliate). It’s basically the same thing as the original, just that the RE comes with refillable pods. The original Vladdin can also use the newer refillable pods, so if you have one those, now you can refill it with your own liquid.
It’s a sleek, compact, stick device that caters to high-nicotine e-juice, especially salt-nic, which is really popular right now. Interestingly, Vladdin also mentions that their device is great for THC and CBD e-juice. I haven’t tried it like that, but anyway, let’s take a look at it!

NJOY Ace Kit Pod Review
NJOY was one of the few vape companies who actually had a really good Black Friday deal going on, so I bought this Ace kit for only $1. Well, it was $5 with shipping, but still a great deal.
So if you’re not familiar with NJOY, they are an independent company, not owned by Big Tobacco. And they’ve been in the vape game for a long time. In 2010, they won a lawsuit against the FDA that prevented the FDA from regulating vape products as drugs or medical devices. They played a big role in allowing vaping to be the industry it is today.
They aren’t nearly as popular as they once were, but they’re one of the only independent brands that aren’t owned by tobacco that you can actually find in gas stations and convenience stores. I’ve always been a big fan of their products, so I’m excited to talk about their new Ace kit.
